A while back I mentioned I’d set up a new site and podcast where I would be posting videos on how to use the Apple iPad. The project had to be put on hold for a little while while I sorted out some technical and practical issues that were making the video quality far worse than I wanted.

Apple iPad First Impressions (Video)

Well, it’s been a few days since the official release of Apple’s new iPad. For some reason, UPS decided they don’t ship on Saturdays on the Big Island (despite apparently delivering on Oahu) so nobody on the island was able to get their iPad delivered until Monday.

Update to iTunes Arriving Alongside First iPads

Unsurprisingly, it looks like Apple will be releasing an update to iTunes for both Windows and Macs which which will add enhancements needed for the impending release of their new iPad devices which hits stores (and the homes of those who pre-ordered before supplies ran out) this Saturday the 3rd.

Apple Offers New Update Fixing Record 92 Security Flaws

Apple has released a new security update today (Update 2010-002) via Software Update. This fixes a record 92 security vulnerabilities in both Leopard (OS 10.5) and Snow Leopard (OS 10.6).

OK, this one really makes me mad.
I was reading an article on consumer-protection website the Consumerist where they were exposing a bogus claim Best Buy made in an ad for their Geek Squad service. In the ad, which was offering setup of new 3D TV sets, claiming they would also synchronize the 3D glasses needed to view the 3D images on the TV.
