Think about when you learn to drive a car: you start out thinking about how much to turn the wheel, when to press the gas, when to press the brake, how much to press the brake...When you're thinking at that level, the first time you drive on a busy road, it can be a little overwhelming, and it can seem almost impossible to do.
But with a little practice, you stop thinking about how to drive, and just start driving.
Soon it seems like you've always been driving; it comes so naturally.
