Think about when you learn to drive a car: you start out thinking about how much to turn the wheel, when to press the gas, when to press the brake, how much to press the brake...
When you're thinking at that level, the first time you drive on a busy road, it can be a little overwhelming, and it can seem almost impossible to do.
But with a little practice, you stop thinking about how to drive, and just start driving.
Soon it seems like you've always been driving; it comes so naturally. If someone asked you how you drove to work, but wanted to know when you pushed the brake, how hard you pushed it, when and how hard you pushed the gas pedal, or any other question about the little details and the little steps of driving, you probably wouldn't have any idea how to answer the question.
When you stop thinking about how you do something, and just
start doing it, that's when you're really good at a skill.
